Desktop login is a split-pane.
The brand pane on the left answers "what is this" with four quiet lines (incl. the passkey-only auth model) and the 0.x tier note; the right pane carries the same passkey card as web/tablet. Touch ID prompt is drawn by macOS over the form when ↵ fires. The bottom strip exposes both the session cookie name AND the WebAuthn rp-id so testers always know what's being set. ⌘K is intentionally not bound here — login has no command palette.
